Cancel clearly. Refund cleanly.
One table, no small print. This policy applies to every trip on this site unless a trip's own page says otherwise, and your written confirmation always states the terms that apply to you.
- More than 48 hours before departure
- Free cancellation. Everything you have paid, deposit included, comes back in full.
- Inside 48 hours
- You cover only what our operator charges us for the empty seat, usually half the trip price. We tell you the exact figure in writing before you confirm, and we add nothing of our own.
- Weather or harbour closure
- If the captain or the authorities cancel, you choose: a full refund of everything paid, or a free new date. At any notice, always.
- If we cancel
- Same promise in full: everything back, or a free new date, your choice. If we ever make the mistake, we also make it right beyond the refund.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid the deposit with. We start the transfer as soon as the cancellation is agreed, and your bank adds its own clearing time on top. The deposit is the only money we hold; the balance is paid after the trip, so in most cases there is simply nothing left to refund.
Moving a date instead
Plans shift, and moving a booking is usually easier than cancelling one. More than 48 hours out, we move your date free of charge, subject to the operator having seats. Inside 48 hours we will still try, and you only ever cover what the operator charges us. Just message us early: a short note on WhatsApp is enough.
One honest note about operators
Some specialised trips, such as private boats and multi-day journeys, carry the operator's own written terms, and those can differ from this page. If so, we say so on the trip page and in your confirmation before you pay anything. You will never discover different terms after paying.
